Introduction to the Native English Teacher
Hi everyone! I'm Mr Chris, your new NET (Native English Teacher). I am from a small town in England in the UK, but I have already been living and teaching in Hong Kong for 8 years. I am very excited to be teaching English at St. Antonius Primary School and I'm looking forward to working with all of the great teachers and students here. It is my goal to make learning fun for all of my students, and that I can provide them with the skills and opportunities they need to become confident in using English. I will do my best to inspire the students to use more English in the classroom, around school and at home.
In my spare time, I have lots of different hobbies. I like to play and watch almost any kind of sport, but my favourite is football. I love traveling to different places and learning new things. My favourite places to visit are Japan and Italy, but my favourite place is Hong Kong! I love spending time with my family. I am married and I have one son, who was born this year. My other interests include reading, playing computer games, eating out with friends and watching movies. Feel free to come and talk to me about your hobbies and interests whenever you have time! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone! Hello everyone, my name is Mr. Lew! I am your new NET. I am from London in England and I have lived in Hong Kong for three months. Before living in Hong Kong I have lived in Australia for two years.
I am looking forward to working with all the local students and teachers. My classes will be fun and involve a lot of games. My focus is to get students to speak as much English as possible. I will teach a lot of English words that students can use in real-life situations.
In my spare time I like to read books – my favourite is Harry Potter! I also like going to see English and American movies at the cinema. If you see me at school please come and say hi and tell me your name.
